Laughter: A New Type of Prescription
Saturday May 20 | 11:30am - 12:00pm
Presented by Liliana De Leo
If it feels good to laugh, why don’t we laugh more? In this activity, participants will learn how daily Laughter Yoga can help us feel good, and better manage various life stressors. Laughter Yoga, developed by Dr. Madan Kataria, combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing, delivering more oxygen to the body and brain. Laughter Yoga not only provides physical benefits, but also greatly increases the chances of experiencing the positive emotions associated with genuine laughter. In this activity participants will be invited to laugh seriously for better health, and much needed emotional healing.
