Public Health Guidelines & COVID-19

For those attending the conference live in Victoria, the 2022 CWIM Conference requests that everyone attending wear a mask. All attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Although current public health guidelines state that masking is voluntary, CWIM requests that masking and physical distancing measures are followed. The choir workshop is a mandatory masked event.

Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to treat other attendees with respect, both online and in-person. Any disrespectful behaviour towards other attendees or event staff will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the event. Some discussions during our round table sessions may be quite personal and all attendees are expected to keep this information confidential.

Cancellation Policies

Costs are incurred by the conference organizers for all cancellations and changes (non-refundable credit card processing fees and administrative fees). Our cancellation policies are designed to offset these costs and to ensure the sustainability of the event for others. These policies are final.

Virtual Registrations and Workshops

  • If your schedule changes and you are no longer able to attend some sessions, you can still access all recorded content and any applicable CME credits until Dec 31st, 2022. Force Majeure

If the CWIM Conference Organizing committee determines that the conference cannot be held in-person due to COVID-19 (either due to Public Health guidelines or a large number of cancellations due to the COVID-19 situation worsening in Canada) all registrations will be automatically converted to virtual with the difference in registration fees refunded. The cancellation policy above will still apply. All workshops that can be converted to virtual will remain (with fee differences refunded). In-person workshops that cannot be converted to virtual will be refunded in full.

This also applies to any other unforeseen emergencies that would restrict the ability to hold an in-person conference including strike, lock-out, riots, insurrection, war, pandemic, natural disaster or weather emergency restricting travel, government-imposed lockdown, act of God.
