Guided Meditation with
   Dr. Chawla

Start both conference days with some self-love! Join Dr. Raman Chawla for a mindful, self-compassion experiential practice. 

​

In this 10-15 minute guided practice session, Dr. Chawla will be leading the group through a combination of mindful self-compassion practices, including Awareness of Breath, Body-Mind Scan & Affectionate Breathing, followed by 5-10 minutes inquiry into exploring your experience following the formal practice. 

​

The CWIM Conference keynotes will begin immediately following these morning sessions in the ballroom just next door.

Will your significant other be joining you in Montreal for CWIM 2023?

They are invited to join 'Bubbles and Bites' on Saturday, May 20 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm (location to be announced) for the opportunity to meet and connect with other spouses and partners of CWIM attendees. Food and drinks will be provided.

Clothing Swap Social

Join us Saturday evening for a fun night in! CWIM is hosting its first-ever clothing swap!

 

Bring a maximum of TWO items of clothing and ONE accessory (shoes, scarves, jewelry etc...) to the conference that no longer bring you joy, but that you know will bring joy to somebody else. Each item will get you a ticket to trade in for new-to-you items! Additional items can also be purchased by donation after 9 pm. Just drop your clean and ready-to-wear items off at registration prior to Saturday evening and then shop away! Please bring items on a hanger if possible. All the money raised (from clothing sales and tickets), as well as leftover items, will be donated to "Dress for Success".

By swapping instead of shopping, you’re participating in the circular economy. This helps keep clothing out of landfills, saves money, updates your wardrobe, avoids fast fashion, and shares with a community of like minded docs! A cash bar will be available.
