Effective time management is the best way to reduce your stress and get more of what you really want done. Join this interactive session to hear the basics and learn about practical, realistic strategies that work for women in medicine.

Hema Patel
Hema Patel is a Professor in Pediatrics with the McGill University Health Centre, with specific training in Clinical Epidemiology and Academic General Pediatrics. She is the Director of the Division of General Pediatrics. She is active in teaching, advocacy and clinical research. Her educational activities include an emphasis on the CanMEDS Leader/Manager training objectives. She is co-author of “The Time Management Guide – A practical handbook for physicians by physicians,” published by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She has presented over 50 interactive workshops on time management and personal effectiveness to a variety of healthcare audiences, in Canada and internationally. She is a firm believer in beginning with the end in mind.
